Adesso Technologies acquires VAR partner, TecNetx, incorporates senior staff into channel management department TecNetx president named VP Technical Services of Adesso
MINNEAPOLIS (November 25, 2002) - In an continuing effort to focus on the needs of its VAR partners, Adesso Technologies, LLC announces its acquisition of TecNetx, one of the firm’s strategic level channel resellers. Adesso will infuse the channel experience and sales expertise of the senior members of the TecNetx team into the growing Adesso channel management structure. Adesso has also named TecNetx President Steve Hoffman as VP Technical Services.
“We are absolutely committed to understanding and addressing the needs of Adesso’s channel partners,” emphasizes Dennis Todora, CEO of Adesso. “TecNetx was a valuable reseller in the Twin Cities market. However, with the recent addition of a local partner resellers, such as Wizmo, we are now able to bring the technical and channel expertise of TecNetx top people into Adesso without reducing the level of customer service in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market.”
Todora notes that making Hoffman the new VP Technical Services for Adesso gives the firm a decidedly enhanced perspective. “Hoffman has an exceptional grasp of both our flagship product, System Suitcase, and the technical environment in which it is applied. His leadership in our technical service area will certainly enhance our capabilities in ways that will maximize customer benefit from using our products.”
TecNetx was a services and software reseller concentrating on professional services. “We found ourselves spending more and more time focused on System Suitcase because of the benefits the product delivers for customers,” recalls Hoffman. “When Adesso asked us to put our enthusiasm for System Suitcase to work for Adesso, it seemed like a very natural transition.”
TecNetx has been a technology firm delivering enterprise storage assessment, desktop life-cycle management consulting and other consultative services for small and medium business infrastructure implementations.
